We came to LA Tradicion while visiting Merida. We wanted to try the typical dishes from the area and we were recommended here. The food was pretty delicious, just that I would of placed this spot more like tapas than single dishes. We enjoyed the food but sadly their service wasn't the best, they kept forgetting our drinks, when asked for some additional food one of the waiters stated the kitchen was closed and we couldn't order more when the time wasn't 6pm yet. It's great to come to a place with original and typical dishes from the area it's just sad to be treated differently just because of were we are from.

Tiene un distintivo MB de Marco Baeta que sirve para dos cosas: para nada y para ni madres. La atención es perfecta. No hay queja con el servicio de meseros. Pedí de primeros unos Kibis Kimbomba y una sopa de lima. De segundos lechon y cochinita. La sopa de lima fue lo mejor. La verdad es que la cochinita exageradamente grasosa y sin sabor. Apenas sabia a axiote. Sin contar el daño que me hizo. El lechon bien. Pero por los precios es una tremenda exageración. Y por la cantidad de manteca que usan... Como no pude comerme la cochinita la pedi para llevar. Al siguiente dia la saqué del refri y la manteca era literalmente la mitad del volumen del alimento. Ambos días que consumi algo de esa cochinita la pase muy mal. Paré en urgencias. Afortunadamente solo fue una indigestión marca diablo. No vale la pena. El sello de MB es una farsa. No caigan. O no pidan cochinita ahí. Es peligrosa e insípida.

This restaurant close at 7 pm we were there at 7:15 and they open late for us the food was delicious, the drinks 🍹, the dessert everything was so yummy, the staff are very nice and friendly the price are very reasonable, we enjoy a delicious meal , definitely worth it.

We had a reservation and we were waiting for everyone in the table to arrive. Meanwhile we were completely ignored after we were offered us something to drink (not even a snacks while we were waiting). I noticed that the people that came after us was given some snack and we were ignored. When everyone arrived we were asked if we were ready to order our food without any snacks.

I am glad that there is another brand in Queretaro but that makes a deficient service for the Brand in Yucatan.

Honestly I recommend you find a better place where you can eat traditional food from the state of Yucatan because it does not worth the service...

Place is nice, quiet and clean, perfect for a lunch or dinner when visiting Mérida. Local food only, prices are kinda high but taste is great, and portion sizes are situable for share or big meals.
