I dont often leave reviews but after my terrible service and experience, felt I had to. Came here and was surprised and happy(!) to hear it was 2 x 1 happy hour. As I was travelling solo, I asked if it was okay if i just got one now and the other later. Was told yes - that was not a problem. A little while later I ordered the second and the waiter said he would be right back. 45 minutes later - no second drink. I was completely ignored even though my server went to every single table surrounding me - I had to go up to the bar to even get my bill. Was charged full price for my one drink despite not even getting the second one for happy hour. Not sure if this is a way to try to take advantage of generous tourists but I felt completely disrespected. Other tourists around me expressed the same feelings of being ignored while watching the locals get catered to. This place is awesome, right on the beach, with a private club vibe that is casual but elevated, and far fewer beach vendors come in to peddle their wares, which can be a relief. Kid friendly and pets are welcome on a leash. Food is fantastic, with tons of vegetarian and vegan options as well as gluten free dishes like the veggie poke bowl. In fact just about everything can be ordered with your choice of protein or veggies- they even have Beyond Burgers!The homemade salsas are delicious and some had a pretty good kick! They have tons of cocktails and artesenal beers as well as wine and sparkling wine. Top shelf tequilas and a solid 2 for 1 happy hour. Staff was amazing, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. There were no downsides, it was a perfect place to have snacks and drinks or lunch or dinner and watch the sunset. Will definitely be going back soon! I am only giving it 2 stars because the service was horrible. I order a beer with a glass. Our server brought the beer and took 15 mins to remember I asked for a mug. I had a disposable cup and I used it because my beer was getting warm. Took a while to get our food. It was fine with us the beach is beautiful. We asked our server for more salsas and took 20 min. We were almost done with our food before he brought the salsa. My wife got atún fresco sellado. Take a look at the photo below, the tuna is a frozen air tight piece of tuna.
