Jax Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Nayarit

Each year I plan my trip and i plan it so i can get to seethe Gecko band and Beast. Well this year we went out for dinner first then we went to Jaxs. Once we got there I ordered my drink my friend ordered a drink and the third friend was still full from dinner and asked to wait a few minutes. Well the waiter did not like that he said if you don't order a drink right now you going to be asked to leave with that being said the tone and the atmosphere Really went side ways. from that time on all we got shity service and eventually after two drinks be paid up and left. my friends who live here in buccerias couldn't believe what was going on.Greg.Russ.Anna and a few other people Absolute garbage service once we spoke to the manager who was cooking in the kitchen for some reason he himself didn't really give a shit so at the end of the day I will never return there. Weird place to go watch live music. The band plays their first set trying their damnedest to get people to focus on them and not the surrounding tvs. The band sets a vibe for the place but the moment the band stops for an intermission, the DJ cranks dance music, regardless of the style of music the band is playing. This kills what the band just created and on top of that this guy comes out yelling into a mic trying to get people up to dance and take "tequila" pours in their mouths. This goes on for 30 minutes and then the band has to come back on after that. It was such a clash of vibe/tone/atmosphere. I feel bad for musicians having to follow the intermission show.

If I could leave zero star I would. The woman (Micha) at the front discriminated against me & wouldn’t let me in saying I wasn’t wearing shorts. Even though I was wearing a full on cover up that covered top and bottom. Not to mention the 2 other woman I was with were wearing less. Discrimination at its finest.
