Saku Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Nayarit

We went to the restaurant last night and we have been living in Nuevo for about three months and we wanted to try the food. Our experience was below par. Before I explain I did give a three star atmosphere it had nice music and clean.

Last night while waiting for our food. I noticed the staff eating behind the counter. Our waiter was eating something with sauce and he licked his fingers not one but two fingers. It must have been very tasty. I watched him 100% to see if he'll wash his hands before delivering our food. NO he didn't. Also at the same time the Supervisor/Manager spit something out in his mouth into his hand maybe a seed and he didn't wash his hands either

We left without having our dinner and did pay for our drinks which is fair to do. I did address the issue with the Supervisor that hygiene are totally unacceptable. Must use soap and wash hands before delivery food.

We will try again because I want to support local restaurants. But I will be watching for hygiene, personally it doesn't bother me if the staff eat but wash the hands before handling...

The presentation was nice, and service was ok. Some interesting flavour combinations in the rolls, but really not traditional sushi by any means. Not proper sushi rice. If you're in the area and it's convenient then it's worth a visit, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. You have to ask for the wasabi/ginger/soy they don't just automatically hand it out or have it on the tables. We had the Magura roll...

The take out service at this place was horrible. The food was delivered late & when it arrived there was no napkins, no chopsticks, no soya, no ginger and no wasabi. When we called to let them know how displease we were, all we got was an "I'm sorry" Wish them luck, my business they will...
