We had an extremely negative experience at breakfast here yesterday morning. Our waiter took our food to the wrong table, then once he realized it (which took 5 minutes of him staring at the receipt, then at the table, then at the receipt) he took the food back and actually tried to give us the food he served to other people even though they had touched it! That is utterly ridiculous. The entire point of putting numbers on the table is to eliminate this sort of confusion. How can a waiter not know numbers?
Then, instead of putting our order in front so we could get it quickly, we had to wait quite a while. When they did bring it out, it was the wrong order! They tried to serve us the wrong food, and once again we explained what we ordered. They came out a few minutes later with one of the crepes, and it was very cold. We think they served us the food they mistakenly gave to the other table. We still were short one dish, and that took another ten minutes to come out - they didn't put our order in front of the other orders.
I asked to speak to a manager and was pointed to a man who, when I asked, said he was not the manager and spoke nearly no English. We couldn't find anyone who understood enough English to give us a refund.
And it turns out this gets worse: the breakfast crepe that was supposed to be gluten free was not. A member of our party suffered a serious gluten attack all day yesterday because of this. We asked the server twice if what he was serving us was gluten free - he clearly didn't understand enough English to even serve the special gluten free dishes. That is a matter of guest health and makes this matter even more serious.
We've been coming to Vidanta for 16 years and have never had such poor service at any of the restaurants. We've been coming to Sweet Paris for three years, and the food and service have always been excellent - but it's clear that the staff that morning was poorly trained and our experience...

Starting with our GF Turkey and Brie cheese crepe, if you love the combo, order it, if you are borderline on the blend, order it. Either way, you will not be disappointed.
Moving on to the Chicken Enchilada crepe, perfectly cooked chicken, soft, filling, and FLAVORFUL, it starts mild and finishes with a touch of heat.
Both gluten-free crepes come with a generous side salad, equally as fresh and tasting.
Our full-size Cobb Salad was fresh and a great add-on if you are looking for a healthier, filling, appetizer. We stopped at SP after a full day on the water, lacking food and sufficient water, and the full Cobb salad was a perfect way to start the meal.
We opted to add a touch of sweetness and went with a Caramel and Coconut milkshake. Portion-wise the shake was smaller than the entrees, but the flavor was incredible and made up for the smaller serving.
Speaking of service, each of the SP team members were polite, attentive, and genuinely focused on ensuring we loved our meal with them.
IF you get lucky and happen to enjoy dinner when the fire dancer show starts, the free performance from afar is worth watching. Your sunset views from the outdoor Sweet Paris...
Read moreWish we could give 4.5! Really good and true to a Parisian Bistro! Everything's fresh, light, delicious. Flavored well but not overbearing. The only reason they got 4 was the grilled chicken on the salad was overcooked and dry but it was still delish! They do a basic "French" dressing or what Americans call Vinaigrette (freshly made) versus the American-ized, orange food-coloring French we're accustomed to. It also was packed with Almonds, Pecans, Cranberries and soft Goat Cheese. ALL of their Crepes are , hearty and filling! We had Berry and Creme, which is a light cream cheese coupled with a mixed berry coulis. It's topped with a lite, airy and silky Whipped cream that kisses you. The Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas is marinated chicken in Chipotle sauce with Black Beans and a nice Chipotle drizzle on the fold. A healthy heap of dressed Greens accompany, as you need it to break up the rich heaviness. A different day, we had the Berry Belgium waffle, which is SPECTACULAR! FULLY loaded and topped with fresh Strawberries, Blueberries and Blackberries and slivered Almonds and again, the delightful Whipped Cream kissed by the clouds. The Caramel Machiatto is not like your favorite worldwide brand but a more gentle, clean, sip of smoothness...and some of us don't even like coffee but a taste of this won us over. Overall, worth a...
