The Rock's Pizza — Restaurant in Nayarit

I ordered food from The Rock's Pizza via Uber Eats... a simple Margarita Pizza and Chicken Cesar salad. The salad was NOT a Cesar; it was warm mush and inedible except for the overcooked chicken, which was passable according to my Bengal cat. The salad I was sent was a house salad with wilted lettuce, onions, black olives, and mushy tomatoes. It's truly one of the worst salads, I've ever been presented.🤮 I don’t know if they serve salads like that in their restaurant, but it definitely got warm while sitting atop a hot pizza inside the insulated backpack of the delivery driver. The Margarita Pizza was heavy on the garlic and used dried basil instead of fresh, but it was edible.

If they plan on continuing to sell salads via Uber Eats, I highly recommend packing it differently so it doesn't get warm.

By the way, a cesar salad is crisp COLD, romaine lettuce, croutons, real parmesan cheese and creamy cesar dressing. No onions, tomatoes, or olives.

Also, I ordered extra parmesan cheese for the pizza, which I didn't receive and requested no ketchup be sent. Whoever prepared my order completely ignored my notes...

We've had take out, three times in two months. Convenient, right on the 200 (Ave de Heroes, in Bucerías. Their pizzas have sesame seeds on the crust, which is delicious. Clean but basic onsite dining & takeout. The large & extra large are square. We've tried the Hawaiian & Margarita pizzas, both very good. The pizzas are named after rock bands for the most part. Two of us shared a round med/large. Three of us shared a square extra large. Extremely affordable, less than $10 Cdn per person. Easiest to order in person from the menus at the counter as the staff are kind but may not speak a lot of English. We went for a walk in the backstreet neighborhood after ordering in person & the pizza was ready in less than 30 minutes. Is there better pizza in the bay? Sure, but for the price this is pretty good. They have sesame seeds on their crusts which is a yummy touch. Seems to be run by a bunch of teenagers. I came in one night to wait for a pizza I ordered to go, and the guy working in the back didnt notice me watching him. He made two pizza crusts, and this kid had SKILL! Super efficient and with flair. They are generous with their toppings. They don't always have all the ingredients and the language barrier can be difficult...
