La Madalena San Pedro — Restaurant in Nuevo León

Your front service people are rude, unprofessional, and nothing compared to the Madalena in Guadalajara and Cancun. Which your front service staff made clear that they would be different since they operated by different people. Absolute joke we called since the morning to make reservations, like was busy all day, we then make reservations through open table which the front hosts says reservations through open table or not priority. She then rudely says wait time would be about 30-1hr then takes a call right in front of us and someone asking for a table for 11 gets told it would be ready in 30min ??? She then tells another party that the wait went up to 2 hours if they would like to try one of their downstairs restaurant and that they also had steak. Lol, then they tell us wait went up to an 2 hours, after confronting her about just telling someone in the phone 30min for a table for 11 and she says that’s just how it is. I asked for a manager, I am told the manager is not allowed to come down. You guys make the Mandalena name to shame absolute trash go visit the location in Guadalajara or Cancun and train your employees on what a 5 star restaurant staff should look like and tell your hosts to aleast comb their hair and try to look presentable....

The food at La Madalena was absolutely incredible, but sadly, the staff completely ruined what should have been a special anniversary dinner. From the moment we sat down, the waiter relentlessly tried to upsell us, despite us clearly mentioning that we only wanted a light meal to enjoy the atmosphere. It became frustrating very quickly as he repeatedly pushed large steaks and dishes we had no interest in, ignoring our attempts to politely decline.

Even worse, the service was unhelpful when it came to portion sizes. At most restaurants, staff are attentive enough to advise when you might be overordering, but here, it felt like the opposite—we ended up with more food than we needed because no one mentioned how large the servings were.

The worst part of the night was at the end when we went to pay. Two staff members stood over us and tried to intimidate us into tipping more than we felt was fair. It was uncomfortable, aggressive, and completely unacceptable behavior.

While the food was excellent, the appalling service overshadowed the entire experience.

We can’t recommend this place unless major changes are made to how staff interact with customers. At this stage, avoid...

El lugar es agradable mucho juego de luces y la pantalla en el techo que hace un poco más atractivo el lugar.

Mi experiencia no fue grata nosotros hicimos reservación, llegamos puntuales te atienden en la entrada hasta tu lugar con una canasta de tostadas y salsa de cortesía.

El mesero que nos atendió nos llevó la carta que mide aproximadamente unos 60 cm de largo.

Te ofrecen agua que creo que es lo más rescatable un agua de piedra muy fresca que se agradece y que obviamente también te cobran al final. Te siguieren mixología y pasas a esperar y pedir hasta ahí todo bien nuestra llegada fue a las 2:45 pm

Pedimos de entrada coliflor y pedimos los alimentos: pasta pene con camarones y atún , pollo agridulce , camarones y fetuccini.

Pues bueno desde que pedimos hasta que recibimos los alimentos 4:00pm le comentamos al mesero y al capitán porque tanta demora de los alimentos cuando veíamos que llegaban mesas en ese inter y las atendían inmediatamente.

Cuando llegan los alimentos ohhhh decepcion la pasta sabía a puré de tomate de cajita los camarones cortados en trozos durísimos y el atún exactamente igual cortado como si fuese de lata horrible sumamente malo el sabor muy amargo y encima parecía que lo habían calentado en el microondas exageradamente caliente… los demás platos no fueron la excepción los camarones parecían congelados y descongelados al momento sumamente duros y sobre cocinados. El pollo igual todos los alimentos estaban muy desagradables.

Todo esto lo comentamos con el capitán y el muy agradable se ofreció a cambiar el platillo no definitivamente ya no deseábamos comer nada de este lugar y optamos por pedir la cuenta.

Al llegar la cuenta lamentamos haber ido a este lugar más de 2mil pesos en alimentos horribles! Creo que en cualquier taqueria de banqueta habríamos comido mejor la peor experiencia en alimentos que recuerde y encima pagamos por eso no lo disfrutamos no fuimos felices y encima definitiva no nos fuimos satisfechos.

Si , lean las reseñas aunque pongan solo las buenas hasta arriba echen un vistazo también a las malas tal ves se ahorren el mal sabor de boca se nos llevamos hoy.

Está instagrameable si , sacas fotos padres…si , es otra experiencia si. Pero los alimentos no valen la pena… en definitiva nosotros no regresamos dice el capitán denos otra oportunidad… no en definitiva la primera impresión...
