Atha Cafe & Brunch — Restaurant in Oaxaca

I really hate to leave a bad review, but unfortunately, this restaurant wasn't good at all.

Our drinks took almost 20 minutes to be brought to us, and our breakfast took almost 45 minutes to prepare when there was only one other table in the restaurant.

Our food orders came out with about 10 minutes between them, so me wife and I didn't eat at the same time. When my order did arrive, it was wrong. I accepted it anyway as I didn't want to wait any longer.

The food quality was pretty terrible. The pancakes were dry, the sauce was bad, and there was a flimsy bit of ham (I ordered bacon) that was totally inedible. I left most of my food. My wife's enchiladas were okay at best.

Maybe the restaurant had an off day. The staff were friendly enough, but I wouldn't recommend this place at all and...

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience, despite the overall great reviews here. We arrived early at 8am and there was just one lady running the restaurant. We ordered coffee and breakfast.

The coffee arrived after 15min waiting. The cappuccino was just a bit of coffee with lots of plain milk. The Americano was actually filter coffee and basically tasteless.

The food arrived after 40min. The açai bowl was ok. I had the „molletes con pico de gallo“ which were just a plain bread with a tiny bit of bean sauce and 3 tiny pieces of avocado and some cheese.

Maybe we were just unlucky or too early and the lady was not the actual staff. But this was definitely the worst experience I had in...
