Dasani Restaurant in Oaxaca delivers an Italian dining experience that’s truly unforgettable. I had the pleasure of savoring their pesto pasta, asparagus with melted cheese and crushed pistachios, and tiramisu for dessert—and I can confidently say it was the best meal I’ve had in months.
Words can hardly capture how flavorful and delicious each dish was. The pesto pasta was a masterpiece, perfectly balanced with fresh, aromatic herbs. The asparagus dish was a revelation—the melted cheese and crushed pistachios added layers of flavor and texture that elevated a simple vegetable to new heights. And the tiramisu? Absolute perfection. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness to end the meal.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the plating was stunning—each dish was presented like a work of art. The fresh ingredients and thoughtful preparation were evident in every bite. The staff were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
Dasani is an absolute must-try when in Oaxaca. It’s the kind of place that leaves you dreaming about your next visit. Highly...

I walked in to a beautifully decorated space that feels warm and welcoming.
For dinner, I had the caprese salad with mozzarella (you can choose burrata), gnocchi with mushrooms, and an apple strudel with ice cream. For drinks, they have mocktails and I chose the fruity option (didn't catch the name).
Best 3 course meal experience I've had in a while. Staff checked in at the end of every course to see how I was doing and if I needed anything before bringing out the next course.
The caprese was refreshing, a perfect way to start the meal. The gnocchi was rich and flavorful, an unforgettable main course. The strudel was the perfect amount of sweetness to finish the meal.
The amount I put is in pesos and factors in only one choose which is what I intended to eat on my way there. Upon arrival something told me that I'd regret not having the full experience. I highly encourage you to go. They have delicious pasta, tasty mocktails, and some wine options in the sea of mezcal.
I'll definitely be making my way back before the...
Read moreMy wife and I had dinner here after seeing the reviews here on google. I don't like to sound too over the top but the food was amazing. I had the black fettuccine with prawns and my wife had the ravioli with gorganzola, spinach and walnuts (vegetarian). We both thought the food was great. Before the mains we were served bread with a small bowl of roasted charcoal tasting mild chillis in oil which was a good touch. There was also an amazing sauce served with the mains which I think was pine nuts, chilli (mild) and olive oil but it was a great flavour I'd never had before. The service was really good and we had a broken conversation after the meal as I was enjoying practicing my Spanish. The waitress and chef we both really nice. All up with 3 beers, sparkling water, two mains and shared dessert the bill was under 500 pesos for high end food so I highly...
