Taquería Tacomer is a hidden gem that every taco lover needs to try. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly, welcoming service and the mouthwatering aroma of freshly grilled meats. The vibe is casual and cozy — perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends.
We ordered the al pastor, carne asada, and barbacoa tacos, and each one was delicious in its own way. The al pastor had just the right amount of spice and sweetness, while the carne asada was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The barbacoa was tender and flavorful, practically melting in my mouth. The tortillas tasted homemade, soft but with a slight crisp from the grill — a small detail that makes a big difference.
What really stood out were the salsas — bright, spicy, and clearly made in-house. The green salsa had a zesty kick that elevated every bite. Prices are super reasonable for the quality, and portions are generous without being overwhelming.
Taquería Tacomer is the kind of place you keep coming back to. It’s authentic, consistent, and just downright delicious. Highly recommend for anyone craving real,...
Read moreTacos here were amazing! Definitely recommend. We were looking for tacos and found this little hole in the wall kind of joint. It was a little bit of a walk from where we were but definitely worth it. Just found it randomly and was blown away. I only got tacos so cannot speak on other dishes. The tacos were small little hand sizes. I had the al pastor, beef and ribeye. My favorite was the al pastor. Recommend 💯. The place isn't aesthetically pleasing but sometimes that doesn't matter when the food is top notch. Would it help with business, yes it would but the food makes it so they can stand on their own. The service was fast, and helpful especially for someone not fluent in Spanish. The prices were amazing. Only accepts cash. Due to it being small(tacos), I ate 5 of them. Come here with your friends or family and just enjoy the food. Order a bunch of you have...
Read moreThis is a decent place to get some tacos in Oaxaca. I was wanting to try something different while here and was recommended to try the food here by a friend.
The menu is not as big as neighboring Tacos Roy but that’s okay. I ordered a sincronizada and a gringa, both with Al pastor and they were both pretty good. Nothing too amazing though but I did like them and I liked the salsas they brought me with the pickled onions too.
I also had an Agua de Jamaica which was delicious. I really wanted more but they don’t do free refills lol.
The one thing I didn’t like about this place was that it’s super humid and musty in there. I feel like it’s because the grill they’re using to make the tacos is so big and produces so much heat. Other than that, this place was fine and I’d...
