Gallo Cervecero Sports bar | Oaxaca Reforma — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Tried some wings at this new sports bar. What I don't understand is why the wings are precooked and sit under a hot lamp? Same as the place across the street. They are barely warm when they get to your table. Do they do this to avoid turning on the deep fryers when not busy or something? It takes 10 mins to cook wings. If that is your specialty then they should be fresh and hot. Maybe someone from the restaurant can explain.

My partner had a salad with boneless buffalo breaded wings which was quite good. I ordered the mango habanero wings (3rd hottest on the list) and they were not hot at all. Hers were much hotter and tastier. I would ask for the dressing for the salad to be on the side as there was too much on there but it was a tasty salad! Wings should come with some fries or at least more vegetables. What they gave me was ridiculously small. Ten wings for $185 pesos seems high to me. Beer selection isn't very good. My wings arrived almost ten minutes before her salad did. C'mon guys food always gets served together.

But they have all sports it looked like and even my favorite hockey! I'm sure they would put it on one of the tv's...

La comida y el ambiente están bien, sin embargo, les hace falta informarse bien sobre los eventos que dicen transmitir, fui cuando iba a ser la pelea de Chávez Jr. y ellos dijeron que sí la iban a transmitir, nos sentaron muy lejos de las pantallas donde transmitían el box. Se tardaron muchísimo en entregar las bebidas y la comida. Sin embargo, esperamos mucho tiempo y lo que más me molestó fue que ni siquiera sabían que la pelea era un pago por evento, es decir, ni habían pagado la plataforma, estábamos viendo una transmisión que ya había terminado y apenas iba a la mitad, nunca veríamos la pelea. Debe el gerente informarse bien de los eventos que pondrá y mantener todo en orden para que no vuelva a ocurrir esto, espero una respuesta directa y no solamente que respondan con un correo y/o número para darle seguimiento. El ambiente es bueno pero para las dos horas que estuve ahí esperando a la pelea fue...
