I came here to celebrate rate my daughter’s birthday and got the gnocchi pasta with meatballs which was so delicious! The food all tasted very authentic. We shared a small Margherita pizza that came with four slices.Thin crust with fresh basil on top, easily one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a very long time. I got an Aperol Spritz and a Sangria. I preferred the Spritz it was a bit stronger. I usually order tiramisu but it wasn’t the typical cake it was more like a mousse but still delicious. I was in the mood for a pastry and ordered the chocolate covered cream puffs and they did not disappoint. They gave my daughter a complimentary dessert for her birthday and gave both my mom and I some amazing Lemoncello Shots on the house. It was a quiet, romantic vibe. All my guests thoroughly enjoyed their food and the service was awesome. Highly...

My wife has a difficult dietary issue- no salt or extremely low sodium tolerance. We were in Oaxaca for three weeks in 2013 and our hotel host says the quality is still good .We ate there at least 6 times and were never disappointed as the younger chef/owner made to order low sodium tomato sauce, home made low sodium pasta, and mozzarella cheese for her plus he makes most of his other food from scratch. We are both of Italian descent and this is the best Italian restaurant we have ever patronized. I had their cannelloni, 3 or 4 times and the pizzas were perfect, crust and sauce and cheese especially. We will miss the food and the family hospitality...

100% the best Italian food in the city and very reasonably priced. The pizza dough is beautifully done. Thin crust with great flavour from the pizza oven. We got the mushroom pasta which was rich and savoury. It's mushroom season so the mushrooms were out of this world fresh. The calamari is also really well done (light and breaded well with a great tomato sauce). If you order a salad, you might need to order extra dressing on the side since it doesn't come with much (I'd recommend one of the salads with fruit).

The restaurant is a little north of the city centre but absolutely worth the extra trek. You MUST eat here if you want good Italian food...

Must try Italian food when in Oaxaca. Authentic and delicious pizzas, pastas, and other dishes. Delicious homemade ricotta. I would recommend the [pizza] Pastorella Normale, the [pasta] Cannelloni ala Ricotta, and the house wine made by the chef himself! Pictured here are the maccheroni borbonico (macaroni and cheese) with vino del chef as well as profiteroles (choux style bread stuffed with whipped cream and covered in chocolate) with an espresso. Delicious! Furthermore, normally I have a bad reaction to anything gluten but eating at this restaurant doesn't make me bloated or uncomfortable afterward.

This is a very nice getaway/break from traditional Mexican cooking while visiting Oaxaca. Stone oven with a variety of pizzas and you will find mouth watering pasta dishes. I had a tasty salad with light mustard sauce, mixed greens, thinly sliced grapes and nuts. Clean clean clean. The staff greet you with enormous smiles. Oaxaca people are so beautiful. Closed on Mondays call ahead some extremely busy times. The decor is beautiful background music is just right for talking. Try their house wine you will not be disappointed. Been there 3 times.
