Pinches Tacos — Restaurant in Oaxaca

I was a bit hesitant to give this place a try due to some of the negative reviews on here but I'm glad I looked past all that unbased negativity and gave Pinches Tacos a shot. Their location, a mere 5 minute walk away from the beach, is unbeatable and their food was mouth-wateringly good. I got the arrachera con queso tacos and the fajitas tacos while my fiancée had the vegetarian and camarón con ajo y queso tacos. The portions were so big that they come with two tortillas (they have both flour and corn!) and I honestly wish I'd had more room in my stomach to scarf down a third taco -- that's how good they are. They offer four salsas (pay close attention because they line them up from least to most spicy) and the salsas perfectly complement the tacos. This place is a joke, waste of my time and money. I've come to order takeaway. They tell me I need to wait for 25 mins. After 40 mins waiting the place becomes empty and they tell me that the filling I ordered is not available. Ok, I've chosen another one. Then after almost an hour my order is ready. They ask which toppings would I like, showing me empty bowls where I guess the toppings used to be. It's 2 hours before closing FFS. So I'm saying "a bit of everything, please". And after 5 mins I got dry freaking tacos with no toppings at all, no salsa, nothing. Don't go there, this place is ridiculous, overpriced, service is just bad, you can get decedent tacos elsewhere for half of the price, in half the time, and the service will...

This was the place closest to where I was staying so I'd looked it up before arriving. I walked by it twice using Google Maps. The landscaping needs to be done on the bushes. I gave a slightly better than average review because the cashier helped me when they could not make change. It took over a half hour to provide shrimp tacos and about half of them were O's instead of C's. The tortillas were think and had no flavor. There was no signage for the salsas and toppings bar.
