Great beer!! I love the white IPA, the wheat beer, and the double ipa. The fried cauliflower is so delicious. Also the place is super nice! They have a little natural vente out front with a lil family of turtles 🐢😍

I love this place! BEST BEER IN QUINTANA ROO! I especially love their Jamaica Gose & Kolsh, but they have great cocktails too (try the frezcal / mezcal de fresa 🍓). My husband’s favorite is their white IPA (it’s hazy and delicious)!

The food is great, our favorite is by far the Torta Wannabe & the nachos! We also love the rock shrimp. Make sure to ask for their house made ranch dressing.

The service is great, we go often and they are always so friendly. The owners are also super sweet!

We love this place so much we got a keg of the white IPA for our wedding and it was super easy to coordinate with them! I used to love it here so I am sad to have to leave a negative review, however I had a very unfortunate situation here yesterday at around 1:30pm. Their credit card machine was without signal and I did not have cash. I still let the server try my card three times although my card was working. All three times, I was charged for my check in my bank, and only one of these times the machine refunded me. I showed my bank statement to the server who was actually refusing to let me leave! This was a super uncomfortable situation for me. The machine was clearly the problem because I showed her my statement with the twice more approved charges. She demanded she couldn’t let me leave because her machine wasn’t letting her see the statement although I had proof in my bank that in fact they owed me a refund for the double charge…. I ended up leaving anyway but I felt very disrespected by the served. And this is not the way to treat a local customer who comes here at least twice every week. And to this moment I still have a double charge in my card not refunded. Sad to say I won’t...

Chela de Playa brewery in Playa del Carmen is a fantastic spot that exceeded all our expectations. The beer here is fresh and well-crafted, with the kolxch being a tasty choice that you simply must try. The food is outstanding as well. I highly recommend the torta, which is one of the best I've had in years, and the esquites dish, which is absolutely mouth-watering and full of Mexican flavor.

The ambiance at Chela de Playa is great, especially if you sit on the patio next to the urban cenote (so stunning!). We enjoyed live music from the restaurant next door while we savored our meal, adding to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. We ended up staying for a couple of hours because it was so chill and comfortable.
