I want to everybody to know that my phone got stolen here on this beach yes beach is beautiful but not safe if you bring your Personal items like phone I would recommend just bringing a towel and a key from your hotel nothing else. I had very bad experience with police it took me 3 days to get a report from police I had to pay. They don't care that my phone is expensive they also don't care about the personal information on the phone they just kind of smiled and laughed in my face. If you have something stolen you can report it just know that their department is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM till 5 PM. And it's not the visitor center they will not take your reports there's other police department. I am very unhappy that this happened to me. The best time coming to the beach is when the sun is rising 5:30 AMAnd then in the morning it's good time to swim until like 10 AM. The next time we come to swim Around 5 PM. I did find that this area was the cleanest of seaweed. Beautiful...

The Sargasso algae bloom (natural or agricultural run off in oceans didn't help, the same bloom has reached Florida ruining beach vacations. However, beach access should not be blocked by scammers trying to collect fees. I understand the beach clubs charging fees for chairs and umbrellas, but by law, 20 meters from highest tide point, beach is accessible even in front of beach clubs and resorts. Locals are poor and money hungry, their aggressiveness is somewhat justified, as large operators basically block the locals access to their beaches. Sad. You can go on the street to the right Mamita's (Calle 38 Norte), if anyone tries to stop you, just tell them you're going to the public beach. Then you can literally sit in front of the Mamita club with your own beer :) We paid, but also enjoyed talking to locals explaining...

Horrendous. Not what it used to be years ago. 1. theres barely any beach left! The area f sand has eroded a way so now theres a tiny strip. 2. The WORST part: instead of the floor being nice sand when you get in the water, its huge rocks youre stepping on with holes and uneven surfaces you cant see. You can practically kill yourself trying to walk into the beach tripping over the huge boulders that serve as a floor or stepping into their craters. I almost twisted my ankle and scraped my shin just trying to get in. No signage warning you of the uneven, bouldery seafloor either. Enter at...

I walked to the beach after a work day and I had was such a great time! I was able to find a spot on the sand as soon as I got there. There was a lot of people but it wasn’t uncomfortably crowded - maybe it’s because it was later on the day too. I hear that it gets super pack earlier in the day - so I’d say it’s best to go later around 4-5pm . The sun is still up at that time but with less people

Beautiful beach, the sand is super soft on your feet, the sunrise is great and I'd even say a must at least once. Very populated with clubs which offer both food and drinks. Excellent place for a quick workout, a rest afternoon and a family day for sure. A few steps from lots of bars, pubs and night clubs, so fun will keep going on and ok until you get tired hahaha.

Absolutely disgusting beach, all the way, Non-stop is the same disgusting beach. The beach is full of sun louges, no space for people to sit on towels, not even a single tree on the beach, only buildings. I was very disappointed about mexico
