Ordered 2 pizzas to go. One Margarita and one Diavola. The Margarita was just a plain cheese pizza which seems to be a common interpretation of Margarita here in PDC even though the description says tomato, mozzarella and basil. I added the basil when I got home. Both pizzas were pretty good, the sauce is tasty, the crust had too much corn meal so it was a little gritty. Cheese was decent better than most but as I stated not mozzarella. My husband said the pepperoni/salami was a better quality than most in PDC. Still, all in all, it was decent enough. EDIT: The manager states they use real mozzarella and I believe them but it was not “fresh or bufala” on the margarita that was my complaint. But I thought it was a good cheese pizza just not a true margarita. Also, the crust was gritty whether it was gritty from cornmeal or semolina I don’t know. I’m no Dave Portney, but I travel a lot and have eaten a lot of fine pizza. This place is definitely on my Top 5 best ever list.

First, the atmosphere is exactly what you would want for a laneway pizza shop cranking out killer wood fired pizza and apparently a wood fired ribeye steak if you tell them the day before.

Second, the pizza. Perfect. Salty sourdough crust that’s crispy and chewy in all the right places. Tangy sauce. Quality ingredients. No grease. Just a killer pie.

Es sind mit abstand die besten Pizzen in Playa Del Carmen und wir haben hier wirklich viele gegessen (unser kleiner 1,5 Jahre isst aktuell nur Pizza anderes lehnt er sofort ab) und können es gut beurteilen da wir auch echte Italienische Pizzas kennen (haben genug Italiener die von echten Italiener betrieben werden München) und waren auch schon öfter in Italien. Hier hat mal wer behauptet die Pizzen seien schlecht, diese Person wird wohl nur das Ami Zeug kennen was leider auch Pizza genannt wird, Dicker Teig, Ölig und komplett überladen mit Zutaten.

Auch die Sachen vom Grill waren immer super, egal ob es die Bratwurst war, der Hotdog, die Rips oder das RipEye. Super gegrillt immer.

Das meiste Servicepersonal hat sich auch immer sehr gut um uns gekümmert und auch um unseren kleinen (so dass wir in Ruhe zu ende essen konnten). Sei es dass sie ihn den Stoff Affen zum spielen gegeben haben oder einem Fußball gebracht haben und mit ihn ein bisschen gespielt haben oder sogar den Fernseher eingeschaltet haben und Tom und Jerry haben laufen lassen. Auch wurde bei uns immer abgeräumt und Servietten waren generell am Tisch in einer Box.

Kann also nicht nachvollziehen wie hier welche behaupten können das Servicepersonal macht nichts.

Gut was die meisten leider wirklich nicht können ist Englisch und damit meine ich nun nicht Englisch für einen Smalltalk aber das was sie halt so benötigen für ihren Job. Der Pizzabäcker kann es aber und sie haben auch eine junge Dame da die neben Spanish, Englisch, Deutsch und...
