The Wolf Specialty Coffee Plaza 300 — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Si pudiera ponerle - 0 estrellas, lo haría. Sin duda es el peor restaurante cafetería al que he ido en todo Playa del Carmen. Todo empezó con un matcha, pedí un matcha latte frío y lo pedí endulzado y según su lógica matcha endulzado es igual a mínima cantidad de matcha mucho azúcar y pura leche, les pedí que me agregaran un poco más de matcha y me dijeron que me tenían que cobrar otro vaso de matcha como extra, decidí dejarlo pasar pero momentos después pedimos chilaquiles, los peores que he comido en mi vida sumamente secos casi nada de salsa y los pedimos con pollo y literalmente tenía tres hilos de pollo, yo me los comí por que ya tenía hambre pero mi mamá se negó soló revisó con el tenedor, vio que no tenían nada y aún así les pidió pollo extra y salsa y de igual manera le quisieron cobrar un extra y solo se respaldan que en el menú vienen “los gramages” pero te sirven 3 hilos de pollo, prefieren cobrar por todo y utilizar el mínimo producto y baja calidad con tal de sacar más dinero y ser groseros con los clientes antes de dar buen servicio, entender el problema y tratar de solucionarlo, en vez de eso decidieron llamar a la policía por qué les dijimos que no íbamos a pagar únicamente los chilaquiles de mi mamá y ni los tocó, todo lo demás si lo íbamos a pagar, solo los regreso y por obvias razones no iba a pagar algo que ni había comido, prefirieron llamar a la policía y hacer el ridículo antes de redimirse como restaurante. Y al final los policías nos dieron la razón. Simplemente asqueroso, no sé quién sea el dueño pero al paso que van no creo que duren mucho. Como bonus cuando íbamos llegando al lugar una señora con sus hijos salió enojadísima del lugar diciendo “vámonos, no nos vayan a correr” y honestamente ahora entiendo todo. My husband and I love the Wolf! We typically come here at least once a week to work. They have good wifi, kind staff, unique drinks with high-quality ingredients, and tasty baked goods.

The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that their drinks are sometimes made inconsistently. They are typically great, but sometimes they are made incorrectly (like having way too much milk in a latte, for example, to the point where you can’t taste anything but milk). Wow! This is the best coffee I’ve had in Mexico! You must go here when in Play Del Carmen. We were staying nearby and this place happened to be the closest coffee place so we walked over. The decor is stylish and modern. It’s similar to the hipster style coffee places popping up in Canada and the USA but with what feels like a local twist. The staff are super friendly.
