Yeah, I’ve never been to a “private beach club. I heard the term beach club and I thought totally something different being American. But it’s really cool, it’s basically a private area you can go and rent a space for the day and hang out.
Love this one, very secluded, really big open area with a giant full bar and great service.
You can get a cabana or just beach chairs. You get the privacy of people not being able walk up to you trying to sell you stuff from the public beach.
You have your own waiter, waitress, covered, or uncovered seating in terms of sun protection, and they come to you frequently for whatever you want drinks water, etc. does not come with towels, I think it was seven dollars for the day. The price is right as well. For one chair for the whole day it’s $30USD includes 2 to 4 drinks of your choice. Depending on what you order. It’s the best price I’ve found in playa beach clubs.
The food here is amazing. I’ve had the ceviche every time and it’s one of the best in Playa. And the service is great. The people are great. Ask for Ami. She’s awesome. This is a cool concept wish we had more of these in the US.
Not sure about parking. Basically you would have to park on the street. I think this is meant for people just walking up. If you’re in the surrounding hotel or condo in the area.
Would I go here again? Heck yeah! Plan...

Encanto Beach Club does not honor its website policy!
Encanto Website Verbiage March 16, 2024
"Playa Encanto has many amenities including bathrooms, and a first aid station. Dogs are allowed on the beach, but visitors are asked to clean up after their pets. There are no lifeguards on duty, so visitors are advised to swim at their own risk."
Problem:
We had a meeting this morning between 10- 11 and a few of us brought our dogs. Earlier in the morning, I reviewed the website, and it said yes they allow dogs if owner cleans up after them.
I was met at the entrance of Encanto Beach Club running late for my meeting, and a lady told me no dogs. I referenced the website and she said no!
About 20 minutes later, another friend brought her dog and she was met by two men who aggressively approached her and aggressively told her NO dogs!
The customer service and attitudes by employees SUCK!
Clean up your website if you do not want customers to bring their dogs!
It's surprising that you treat customers so aggressively over little dogs, especially when we have PROOF from your website you admit animals.

Read moreIt used to be a nice beach club to relax, with good service and ok food. Now they believe the louder the music, the happier the clients. We were there at a low day during the week, two gentlemen next to us complained about the loud music once the DJ start; a family left, I asked if they could please turn it down, as obviously the customers do not enjoy it. The reply was "we have a DJ now. At this time of the day, thats how it is" I tried again twice, and said as well "shouldn't you listen to what the customers enjoy?" - hasn't changed. I usually do not go to beach clubs that are in walking distance for tourists, and will not come back to Encanto because I didnt enjoy myself on my day off.
