Il Piemonte — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Not a place, if you are in a rush and a very cold air condition affects you. The restaurant is like a fridge and even though oy a few guests have breakfast here with only a limited menu, basically eggs, it takes forever to get your food. The waiter asks 3 times to confirm you order. I would expect grapefruits are year around available in Mexico, not so in Il Piemont. Grapefruit Juice is not available and the Orange Juice unfortunately is out of a carton and not freshly pressed. Huevos Ramcheros lack of red salsa, same for the chilaquiles con red sauce, which probably just passed a pan with red sauce, but a tomato sauce whatsoever is missing...

Me and my family were able to give this place a try, and it was worth to say that it is a must-try. We came early to see that there wasn’t as much people as we expected, but that is definitely you should do when you try out this restaurant. This is our favorite restaurant at Sandos Playacar. The setting is beautiful, the service is excellent and the food is very good. Be sure to try the pizza from the wood fired oven! Our favorite part is the very talented singer who serenades tables throughout the evening. I could listen to his beautiful voice all night! The entire team does a wonderful job at making memories...
