If I could give six stars, I would. A few years back, the specialty coffee shops in Puebla got together and put together a Passport for the specialty coffee shops. A page per coffeeshop. A visit. A stamp. In an effort to help people understand what goes into making for a truly spectacular coffee experience. Selection from caring growers, roasting to the best flavor profile, careful extraction via a variety of methods, presentation.
Of the many choices for coffee in Puebla, Atta Salon de Cafe should be at the top of your list.
I have spent many mornings here over an excellent coffee (I drink it black with nothing added, in order to savor the unique flavor of each roast). And perhaps a Belgian waffle, or banana bread right out of the oven.
The staff here are wonderful. And. If you have an opportunity to meet the proprietor, Ana Elvia, you are in for a real treat. She is one of the friendliest, kindest, passionate about coffee-ist people you will encounter.
Highly highly recommended.

On the other hand the sandwich español and dessert (pay muñeca)we got were...
