I wish I could say my visit to this coffee shop was enjoyable, but unfortunately, my experience with the owner left me deeply disappointed and upset. My friend and I ordered a dirty chai and a cafĂ© latte, both of which tasted sour, and we believed the milk had gone bad. When I politely flagged this to the owner, he immediately became defensive, insisting the milk was fresh and telling me my taste buds "werenât accustomed to the flavor."
I explained to him, in Spanish, that I had tasted similar drinks before in Mexico, and they didnât have the same sourness. Rather than understanding my perspective, he switched to English and proceeded to question my identity as a Mexican. He made assumptions about me, claiming that if I were truly Mexican, I would have accepted the drink without complaint. This was not only offensive but incredibly hurtful. As someone who lives in Mexico and was speaking to him in Spanish, I was shocked that he felt the need to invalidate my heritage and lecture me on how I should behave as a "real Mexican."
Feedback, especially from customers, is something that should be handled with care and respect, but the owner made me feel small and belittled for simply sharing my experience. His dismissive attitude and personal attacks ruined what should have been a simple coffee stop. I left the café in tears, feeling deeply disrespected and insulted.
As a business owner, I believe itâs important to listen to feedbackâwhether itâs positive or notâand find ways to improve. I hope others are treated with more respect than I was...
Read moreWorst coffee I have had in my life. We had an americano and two espresso martinis. All of these strongly tasted like vinegar. We could hardly drink the americano and the espresso martinis were so bad that we had to leave them there unfinished (by the way, not sure how you can call this an espresso martini at all as it did not contain the ingredients of an espresso martini). I am not sure if the owners have ever tasted their beverages, since this is not drinkable. Will not come back and do...

Glass straws are used to prevent plastic waste and you can see that they even roast their own beans! This just adds to the feeling that these baristas know what theyâre doing.
Iâd recommend a visit for the drinks - theyâre well priced and made with care. Free wifi and comfy seats are...
