I came in with a party of 6 and everyone’s order came at different times, so some would be finished before others arrived. We ended up leaving before two other orders arrived because we were tired of waiting. Everyone else was finished eating and they couldn’t bring out two simple orders of pancakes. Additionally, at the time we ordered, we were the only party in the cafe, and then another party arrived afterwards. Their orders came out first before all of our orders were fulfilled. We’re regulars here—whether it’s for a smooth latte, a rich espresso, or their absolutely delicious wood-fired pizza, Café Tal never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are bold, and the vibe is always welcoming.

A special shoutout to Hugo, our waiter during our last visit. He was incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful. His warm service added an extra layer of joy to our experience.

This place is one of the principal reasons I hope to return to Puebla one day. It is just fabulous. Wonderful selection of drinks, great tisane teas, pretty good coffee, pretty good food. Wonderful atmosphere overlooking the main plaza. The service can be unpredictable - most of the waiters are really friendly and efficient, but not all, alas, including this one guy with a semi-shaved head who is so rude and arrogant, really putting a damper on this otherwise exquisite place.
