Pleasant surprise when we arrived, a nice German ambiance and a friendly 'herzlich willkommen' by the staff. We sat on the second floor, and had a nice window view. They have domestic beer on tap, and an assortment of German beers....I opted for the domestic oscuro...liked it. The menu is in both German and Spanish. Started with the pea soup...best I've had since my mom's! The nice surprise was schmaltz and bread was also served...I knew then, things would be great....and they were. We ordered the schnitzel and the medallions in mushroom sauce with spätzle...again, both tasty and truly reminiscent of Germany. Read moreBeautiful setting, great service but our sausages (bratwurst) did not meet our expectations. We won't be back. I lived in Germany for several years and know what good German food is including good bratwurst. I have also eaten at many German restaurants all around the world and know what good German food and bratwurst is. I went there to eat the bratwurst and was disappointed. There is no need to be rude or insist that I eat something else on your menu I went there for bratwurst and that's what I ordered... Now for sure I won't be back with that attitude usually an owner will apologize when customers are disappointed no matter what they choose...
