La Tertulia Desayunos y Almuerzos — Restaurant in Puebla

The restaurant is decorated very beautifully! And to my regret, this is the only one thing which made me feel nice about this place (except their bathrooms with almost transporant doors). Firstly, the taste of the food is quite regular in comparison with the price they are demanding for it. For example, their breakfast combo includes the main dish, coffee or tea, a plate of fruits and a glass of orange juice. I ordered huevos con machaca (it cost 145$). They brought me huevos revueltos with mostly tomatoes (I hardly could see any machaca in there) served on two small tortillas. There wasn't at least beans as a side dish! (I believe the beans should be included in every Mexican dish!) As for fruits, they served 3 slices of water melon and 3 slices of melon. That's it! I wanted to have a tea instead of coffee (as they offered it in the menu), but they ran out of it.😔 So they gave me a cup of cacao drink (without extra fees), but it was too sweet for me. The conchas rellenas were fluffy and freshly baked. Secondly, the waiter was polite and friendly, but not attentive enough no matter that the restaurant wasn't fully crowded. Very nice and cozy place. It's a little bit small, but nothing to worry about. They have a nice terrace upstaira. The music is very nice and appropriate for breakfast or lunch. Food wise...the bread they give in the breakfast is very good (but might be very sweet for someone). The Chilaquiles La Tertulia are good but the Tacos Tertulia are much better (I owe you the photos this time). There are 5 choices of salsas, so you can chose from different flavours and hot level.
