Tacos Árabes Bagdad Centro — Restaurant in Puebla

Once I came to learn about the Lebanese influence in Puebla, I ran directly to Tacos Árabes to taste how the authenticity of flavors started.

Through some previous research, I had read to order both the tacos and meat by the pound - which was absolutely necessary in order to get the full experience.

We started with the Tacos de Carne Arabe which comes on a naan bread. The meat was tender and all I did was add one of the three delicious (and spicy) sauces on it before I inhaled it.

We got a kilo of Carne Arabe AND Pastor - there were four of us so we anticipated finishing this off. If we had not each had a taco already, we may have accomplished our goal. It was sad to leave a bit left, but we did stuff ourselves the best we could. I could not decide which meat I enjoyed better, they were both flavored with spices from the trompo and very tender.

When you order by the kilo, it is accompanied with corn tortillas, naan bread, cilantro, onions, pineapple and limes to make your own taco.

I would go back in...

These tacos are hands down amazing. We weren’t sure what to order so we ordered almost everything taco and we definitely recommend the taco arabe with the tortilla de harina. The taste was great and unfortunately we didn’t have enough time so we took the food to go and tried it on our way home so we weren’t able to buy more. This place was great and definitely will come back when we visit...

The food is excellent. Our server spoke really fast Spanish to us so we had a hard time communicating since our Spanish is very limited. She didn’t offer us any of the onions and cilantro (I know those words! that she offered to other tables. It’s possible our tacos don’t come with them. We ordered the Taco Arabes and supposedly the torta but I don’t think that’s what we received. Super...
