La Maison Gourmande — Restaurant in Querétaro

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Queretaro. I dine here every week and keep going back for more. You can tell that the chefs put a lot of passion and love in their food as everything is absolutely delicious! The huachinango is excellent as is the chef’s pasta and the ingredients are always fresh. My friends love the burgers and handmade papas fritas. The pastries are heavenly! For such gourmet dishes, the prices are very reasonable. I strongly disagree with the disgusting review of Valko Inen who claims to be a tour guide and uses a fake name. This little place transported us straight to a cozy spot somewhere in France. The decor and atmosphere were absolutely perfect. We ordered a burger with perfectly seasoned beef and salmon with a phenomenal ginger and dill cream. A modern atmosphere with real French cooking. The beef stew made with beer was cooked to perfection. The side of mashed potatoes was the perfect accompaniment. My husband had a type of pizza like those made in northern France. The crust was reminiscent of pizza I had frequently in Nice. I was transported.
