Date night at Moser Cafe Kultur!
We love this eclectic concert venue, club, and restaurant. Moser is easy to get to, located in the Alamos Section of Querétaro. On-site, secure parking is a big plus. We made our reservation via email the day before, and got a prompt response. Luckily, we scored a table for two right at stage front.
A beautiful and tasty cheeseboard, accompanied by a nice organic wine was our choice from their interesting and extensive menu. The Mosers-Sylvia and Philip-the owners of the place, came by to welcome us and chat a bit. He is Swiss and she is Mexican, accounting for the amazing European/Latin vibe of the club.
Our entertainment for the evening was the Lixia King Jazz Quintet. They put on a super show, over one-and-a-half hours with no breaks. We enjoyed many jazz standards as well as a few tunes new to us.
Check out Moser Cafe and Kulture for a great night out! We know we'll be back soon!
Oh yes, our hostess, Carlotta, was super friendly, welcoming, and attentive! Thanks Carlotta for making us...
Read moreWe always visit Moser when we're in Querétaro. They have great jazz music but unfortunately they no longer offer draft beer. The food is very good. We ordered glasses of two different types of wine, which also were not available. We ordered a burger and fries, which was great. We ordered the Moser Salad that comes with Serrano ham. When the salad arrived, it had salami instead of the ham. We sent that back. The issue was that there were so many things on the menu that were not available. We understand that this can happen, but the wait staff should inform customers what is unavailable when the menu is given, or maybe post a sign with what is unavailable. It was very frustrating to only get one thing that we...
Read moreI went to Moser Cafe on a Friday evening for music and food. Everything in my experience was disappointing. I asked to be seated in the stage area, which was fairly empty. I was sat on the bar next to the cash register and given a menu. After 40 minutes, a gentleman asked for my menu, but did not ask for my order. An hour later, a waiter asked if I wanted something to eat and drink. Seeing that interaction, the "manager" who took my menu earlier returned it. I ordered a beer and pork shank with coleslaw. Unhappily, I ate the pork shank, but would not force myself to eat the coleslaw. I later ordered fries. The music was equally...
