What in the skibbidi toilet Ohio. No rizz. Our deserts took like 45 mins. And we only ordered two deserts 😭. 20+ mins for our drinks. There was practically no one in the restaurant too. The oysters were pretty good. But also took a long time to come out. Spent 3 hours here just waiting for food. The service is slow no cap. Service is also very dry and gives the impression that they don’t care at all. Really the only thing that was bussin was the oysters and Tabasco sauce. Found out that one of the desserts is a drink (the suspiro limeno) but took even longer than 50 minutes to come out. The bartender did not even seem busy either.
Update: We finally got the desserts except the suspiro limeno. Apparently it contains alcohol. However, we ate a dessert with the same name at another restaurant(Cusco) and it was a pudding like texture and it did not contain any alcohol. So it is very Ohio that the waiter said that it was a drink and that it contains alcohol. These two restaurants are also on the same resort so it is flabbergasting. Someone in our group asked the bartender if what the waiter said was correct but the bartender said it is not a drink, but a dessert...
Read moreWe had such an amazing time staying here this past week. We truly felt valued as guests. The food everywhere along the resorts and the lower level resorts was wonderful and delicious. My personal favorite is Momo from Sunrise (Hibachi). Some of the best food I’ve eaten in a while. All of the facilities were super nice and it was overall a very enjoyable experience. We stayed at the Grand and loved that all the other resorts were within walking distance!
I would like to give a personal shoutout to Felipe, Gilmer, Cesar, Ulises, and Jesus who were amazing staff members for us during our stay. We were frequent goers to the Karaoke bar and every staff member in there was absolutely amazing! Another shoutout to Jacqueline, one of our massage therapists who was amazing and did beautifully to keep us relaxed and tend to our needs...
Read moreCame for dinner and needed to find a second dinner spot it was that bad.
After 90 minutes the best bite was a children’s French fry. Soup almost warm no flavor no lobster just broth, tasted like it sat unleaded for 2 hours. Muscles served cold. Fish smelled so fishy you know it isn’t good. Ordered beer didn’t ever come. We have been coming to the Grand for 4 years. Food has been going down in quality every year. Look servers were nice but can’t figure out why they wait for food in the back and it comes out cold. I can find amazing food in other tourist spots for 100 peso per person. For 700 USD per night this food is terrible at half the restaurants. And this is the slower season. Right after spring break. It is worse now during the...
