Update: April 2025 Improved service, still very hard to reserve a table, should consider examining seating option and enlarging your kitchen. Food is way better than past years!! Well done on improving the recipe and hiring excellent cook. This place now is too notch!!
This palace is excellent but not during busy season, so let’s break it down why.
After waiting a long hour and 15 minutes we get told at the door that no more tables available.
One person was ahead who decided to get a table for 25 people but guess what, only few of the 25 people were standing in the line. How the heck that person get a table, I don’t know. Many people behind us were frustrated and absolutely annoyed that they wasted so much time to get no table and now they have to go and wait at another place. The restaurant had many empty spots that are reserved for diamond member that didn’t show up even when we checked an hour later.
This way of operation is not acceptable. No table should be given unless all parties are presented. So when I’m standing in line I can get an idea on how many people are ahead of me. To wait online for an hour and 15 minutes then get told that no table are left and with 2 small kids that is a little annoying!! I’ve shared this experience with others at the management and I told that person at that door that I’ll share my complain with as many as I can!
If you want to go here just either go during low season or go any day other than Monday and Wednesday!!
Management get this issue resolved or improve seating and tables count!!

We had a day pass at the Grand and we were looking forward to having lunch here. Starting off, we had around an hour wait to be seated and finally got in a little before 2. We ordered a couple of dishes and I’m not even kidding you, we got our first dish at 2:50 which was a small appetizer. We then waited for the rest of our dishes to come in, which came in 20 minute increments, and ended up not even getting one of our main dishes at all, which was the chicken shawarma. We asked for pita bread to go with our hummus and never got that either. Finally, we ordered dessert around 3:40 and said we were to expect a 5-10 minute wait time but ended up getting it a little after 4. We kept trying to get the attention of the waiters but they all looked but then ignored us. A true highlight at The Grand!
Dining at Habibi was easily one of the best experiences of our stay at The Grand at Moon Palace. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm, genuine welcome that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The ambience is gorgeous—elegant Middle Eastern décor, soft lighting, and a relaxed yet refined vibe that feels special without being stuffy.
The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and happy to guide us through the menu with excellent recommendations.
And the food… outstanding. Every dish was full of authentic flavor: fresh, vibrant mezze, tender grilled meats, and desserts that were beautifully presented and delicious. Each course arrived at just the right pace, giving us time to truly enjoy it all.
We loved the attention to detail and the sense that the team genuinely cares about creating a memorable evening. Habibi is more than a meal—it’s an experience. Yes, they serve Dubai chocolate and Turkish coffee too…
