Beach at The Grand Moon Palace — Hotel in Quintana Roo

• Was supposed to have a room with a king bed for me but was given 2 double beds.. very romantic 🙄 • Hounded by front desk persons to buy packages within my first 5 minutes there. After declining, they then turned to my GF as if "I have no say" • Upon arrival to the room, I had a shower... then had to call for towels. Zero towels in the room!!!! 🤯 • then I ordered 1 bottle of wine (in an all-inclusive package) I gave the wine man $10 tip to make haste with the wine.... he never showed back up to the room!!!! • breakfast in the morning was served on a paper plate and plastic silverware. 🙄 5 star facility is questionable.

Overall this hotel is a joke. It was way overpriced and poor experience.

On a fresh note. The staff on the beach were super friendly The evening restaurants were absolutely par.

This is a subpar...

The beach isn't the main attraction but its nice enough. There are boats and fun items to use. Lots of spots to eat by the beach.

The rooms are spacious and very nice. Most of them have a soaker tub and a balcony or terrace. There are refrigerators with food and beverages and you can get room service too. Beds are great.

The restaurants are plentiful and there is absolutely something for everyone. When you travel here kids are free or discounted.

Pe p le who enjoy Golf would like this property. There's a huge golf clubhouse a course and that is where the spa is too. You can use resort credits at those facilities. There are three properties here in total and there are busses from one to the other. It's easy to get around.

The beach at The Grand is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing stroll or soaking in the sunshine with a view of the turquoise water. The loungers are comfortable, the service is excellent, and the breeze off the ocean makes it the ideal spot to unwind.

That said, there was a bit of seaweed during our visit — a natural part of coastal life in the area. While the resort does make an effort to clean it up, a bit more frequent cleanup would make the beach experience even better.

Still, the overall vibe is serene and tropical, and the setting is absolutely stunning. Grab a drink, kick back under a palapa, and enjoy the sound of the waves — it’s a great spot to relax and...
