Once again me mr max and senorita maria, had a fantastic vacation at gran bahia Tulum never lets us down ,gets better every time to all the crew at the buffet Andrew great,the breakfast and lunch master manuel who looked after us well with great humour,the tequila crew my old amigos,the tortago crew who never let me starve😂😂 and my very dear friend Mauro-pablo who I can only describe as top notch to anyone visiting don pablo his manners and genuine welcome makes you relax I had many a bottle of Mexican wine there I can tell you he never let us down in fact he arranged a beautiful table for me and my other half who was always delighted there’s nothing this man wouldn’t do for you just ask and it’s there absolutely fantastic also the crew who are expertly in how to treat their diners and a very special thanks to the chef Louis who is the greatest chef in the world an amazing chef these comments I give are pure genuine ,I cannot wait to come back to heaven and WILL be bak next year Once again I thank you Mauro keep the wine chilled for me. Read moreRestaurant was excellent—the best food we had during our stay at the resort. We started with the Rockefeller oysters (three per portion), beautifully presented with a little red parmesan crisp on top—delicious and generous.
For starters, we had the lobster and tomato bisque and the mushroom soup. The bisque was rich and flavorful, and the mushroom soup was exceptional, topped with a dollop of whipped cream for a smooth finish.
For mains, we tried the tournedos steak and the fish with black olive sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, just as requested, and the fish dish was outstanding—one of the highlights of the night.
Dessert was a bit of a mixed bag. I was a little disappointed by the foie gras popsicle-style item, but the ice cream more than made up for it—it was incredible.
