Overall: Disappointing Experience at a Mediterranean Restaurant
Our short wait ended with a table in a distant corner against the wall. When I requested a lovely table by the window, the waiter hesitated, explaining that they work in blocks. This was appalling and shameful! Choosing tables for guests' comfort should not be solely for the convenience of the waitstaff. A definite 1/5 for the management's attitude towards customers.
Food: Greek Salad: 2/5. The taste of the vegetables suggested it was prepared at least four hours earlier. A strange and unappetizing imitation of a Greek salad. Grilled Octopus: 3/5. The dish was lukewarm, either poorly reheated or it had cooled down. The octopus itself was cooked well. Marinera Rice: 3+/5. The plate and dish were hot, with plenty of seafood. However, I found the rice tasteless, as was the dish overall. Creme Brulee: 3+/5. A delicious caramel crust, but the filling was far from the original in taste and texture.
Service: The waiter deserves a 4/5 – polite and prompt. However, at the end of our dinner, no one inquired if we enjoyed our meal or even seemed to notice our departure.
Conclusion: I do not recommend this restaurant. Opt for a buffet-style dinner instead for fresh, tasty, and...
Read moreWe were told the Mediterranean restaurant is good, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to get in, even though we tried twice. The issue is that they operate on a first-come, first-serve basis instead of taking reservations. This is the same policy as the French and Italian restaurants. While it might sound convenient, it often leads to long wait times, I’ve seen people waiting 30 to 60 minutes just hoping for a table. To me, this creates unnecessary hype and wastes valuable time that could be better spent enjoying the resort.
I shared this feedback with the management and public relations team, suggesting they make it reservation-based, like the Japanese and Brazilian restaurants, to improve the guest experience. While I didn’t get to try the food myself, other guests mentioned that it was good. Hopefully, the resort reconsiders its approach to avoid such long waits...
Read moreOne of the non reservation dinner spots. We were told the wait was 1/2 hour, but ended up being an hour. The appetizer and dessert bar are a nice touch especially since it took almost another hour before we received our entrees The main course entrees were visually appealing and were very well prepared. Other than the long wait it was definitely worth the visit. For context we were...
