STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! THEY ARE DIRTY AND THEY STILL MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS!
I CAUGHT ONE OF THEIR WAITERS USING THE RESTROOM AND LEAVING WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!
ON TOP OF THAT, I GOT THERE TWO MINUTES BEFORE BREAKFAST WAS SCHEDULED TO BE OVER AND THEY GAVE ME A HASSLE JUST TO GET SCRAMBLE EGGS AND THEN WHEN I WENT TO PAY I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE A TIP AND THE WAITER DECIDED TO ADD A TIP REGARDLESS. THE MANAGER CAME OVER AND HAD A NASTY ATTITUDE AND TRIED TO CHECK ME WHEN SHE NEEDS TO CHECK HER DISHONEST AND DIRTY STAFF THAT DON'T WASH THEIR HANDS WHEN USING THE RESTROOM AND WHO STILL MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS.
SHE EVEN HAD THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME "AFTER ALL OF THAT NO TIP." NO! NO TIP AFTER Y'ALL GAVE ME A HASSLE OVER EGGS, WERE RUDE TO ME, AND THEN YOUR STAFF DIDN'T WASH THEIR HANDS AFTER USING THE RESTROOM!
LITTLE GIRL BYE! SHE TRIED TO SAY HE DOESN'T SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH. HE SPOKE PERFECT ENGLISH TO ME AND WHEN HE ASKED FOR A TIP I SAID NO AND MADE A ZERO WITH MY FINGERS SO I AM NOT SURE HOW HE MISTAKEN THAT FOR A 10% TIP. LIARS! AND PER THE REVIEWS THEY HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE.
HERE'S A PHOTO OF THE DIRTY WAITER THAT DIDN'T WASH HIS HANDS AFTER USING...
Read moreMy fiancé and I decided to try out a restaurant that was within walking distance from our hotel when we didn't have a scooter. Despite mixed reviews, I thought we'd give it a shot for breakfast. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't great. The omelet was bland and had too many mushrooms. The pastries we ordered were stale, just as other reviews had mentioned, and the coffee was not good either. The only enjoyable item for breakfast was the grain sourdough bread that comes with the omelets and when I asked for more they gave me a different bread that wasn't as good 😅
However, we decided to give the restaurant another chance a few days later because I was craving pizza. We had seen someone with a delicious-looking pizza the day before. This time, we ordered the sourdough burrata pizza with pesto, and it was great! We also tried their fermented grapefruit soda and teipache, both of which were really good. If I were to recommend anything from this place, it would be these three items! Stay away from the...
Read moreThey ripped us off and charged $300 pesos for an ice latte and a small piece of gansito (chocolate cake). They told us that the “take out” fee is $100 pesos!!!!! What a bullshit. We will never go back and warn people to not come here. Very dishonest people ripping off tourists. I’ve never paid 100 pesos ($5 USD) for taking out food my life even in the US.
Reply to the owner: For the record, we went to your shop on March 16, 2025 between 10-12pm (I don’t remember the exact time). As I said, we ordered an iced coffee and gansito (small chocolate cake) to go. You can pull up the bills and check.
Of course, it is so out of the norm so WE ASKED your employees THREE TIMES and they said it’s 50 pesos for each container (the plastic cup and the box for the small cake) SO IT COMES UP TO 100 Pesos = $5 USD. Your employees ripped us off I guess when you are not there. It’s not a lot of money but it pisses me off whenever people are dishonest...
