New favorite restaurant in tulum and I have tried A LOT since I don’t cook here. Quality innovative dishes, authentic flavors set in a gorgeous building with high ceilings and inspiring decor. Let’s get to the food - pad Thai with giant prawns is fantastic as this special we had (sword fish and Thai salad). Taste was on point - better than Thai food in New York City where I’m from and honestly almost a replica of what I’ve had in Thailand. Huge portions with lots of fresh veggies and savory noodles. Mariana provided wonderful service as well as the rest of the team! As I told them, it’s one of those places I could go to every day/dream about when I leave because everything exceeded expectations 😊 Not a review I was asked to write (as happens quite often here) I just had to spread the word of this incredible establishment. 100% a must visit if you’re in tulum!!!

Came here for a light meal as part of an evening of different stops and had a wonderful array of different small plates. The kitchen here is very good at what they do and did a wonderful job with every dish. There was a limited amount of options for large portions for vegans, but plenty of small plates and a delicious massaman curry medium plate that will fill you up. This was probably the most creative and delicious take on edamame we have ever had. Highly highly recommend it. My one complaint was our waiter being a bit pushy about us (4 people) ordering more food despite us telling him 2 times we had already stopped and ate else where and we were content with what we ordered (which 4 small plates and a medium was just right).

Asian fusion restaurant with a Thai centric menu 🐅 The meal was so satisfying! We thoroughly enjoyed every dish: - Tuna aguachile (try it with the house chili oil for extra kick 🌶️ ) - Crispy rice salad (delicious side with an amazing explosion of flavors and textures) - Meat balls (make your own lettuce wrap! Love the sweet chili sauce) - Lamb red curry (the addition of pineapple balances the smoked meat and creamy curry beautifully) - Fried Chicken (juicy fried chicken 🍗 with a tasty side of pickled cucumbers) The food is great for sharing. Gluten-free dishes are clearly denoted on the menu 📝

Food Poisoning!!!

My friend and I on our first night in Tulum decided to go out near where we were staying. I think if we had looked closer at the prices on the menu beforehand which are akin to US prices we wouldn't have stayed.

Essentially my friend ordered the duck and before he was done he was already feeling like he was going to throw up. Which though I thought alarming he kept acting as if it's fine. He didn't want to throw up in the bathrooms since they were open air bathrooms. So I told him to leave and I would stay and pay, then meet him outside. Well when we got back to our airbnb he went to lay down and I was still hungry ( after spending $50US you'd think I would be full) and wanted to see Tulum so I left to explore. When I came back I found him a mess laying on the floor and telling me he had it coming out of both ends when he sat on the toilet! Then when he went to close the bedroom door, he passed out and hit his head!!!

I was shocked. I had never heard of such a thing. He obviously had received food poisoning from the duck he ate. I told him online it says to go to the ER but he decided to power through it and it took about 3 days for him to recover.

I can't in the least recommend Asian Bodega nor why people come to Mexico to eat Asian that really isn't that good. What I had was fine but not worth the price point and was the size of an appetizer and of course the place almost...

My wife and I stayed down the street from this incredible restaurant and we went there for dinner 3 times in the span of 1 week. The ambiance, hospitality, service, food, and overall entire experience was incredible all 3 times. Connie was our server every time and she knew the menu extremely well and was very friendly; we loved cnnecting with her. The owners, Julio and Hunter, have truly created such a fun and welcoming vibe. We’ve traveled all over the world and eaten some really incredible food, and this place was at the top. Each time we went we tried new dishes and ALL of them were insanely good- I kept saying “I’ve never eaten anything like this before in my life,” in the best way possible. You cannot go wrong with whatever you order and MAKE SURE to get the brownie surprise for dessert, it will blow your mind. From the silverware to the decor to the intricate food options, every single detail has been well thought out and executed with intention and love. If you come to Tulum and you don’t check out this restaurant, you are simply missing out on a very unique and exceptional experience! Sending much love...
