Maison Kayser — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

I ordered a Jambon fromage croissant hot and it was cold so I asked for it to be heated up again and it was still cold. Luckily, I asked an eager to please staff member what could be done and he had it replaced. It was good. I then ordered a mimosa and it’s terrible, there are no bubbles so much to my dismay (because I was raised to provide quality and accept only high quality) I politely asked the ingredients. One staff member said Champagne and juice the other said no it’s sparkling wine. So, anyway, I’ll pay my bill and go get my flight slightly disappointed. This place has potential and some of the staff I dealt with were incredible.. the owners/managers just need to up their game big time. My bill arrived and the mimosa was comped. It was just so disappointing, I’ve been excited to have my Christmas break for weeks and sat down to have a nice drink and bite to eat before my flight but it was underwhelming. They microwaved my croissant almendra!!! Mea culpa, I guess, for not knowing I wouldn't get the nice looking one in the case. What came to the table like fried plastic. Told me they had to do that because they were frozen Couldn't convince them it was far better to just left l let them thaw. They reluctantly brought me the one on the case, which was at least edible.

Loved it. The pilé oscuro is soooooo good. They have a fantastic chai latte and divisions between tables so you can have a socially distanced experience. I needed to charge my laptop and this place was perfect, the seating area had multiple types of connections (standard, USB). I used the free airport WiFi. The service was excellent as well. They have breakfast and all kinds of pastries. Definitely my choice of working station before...
