We grabbed a quick bite before our flight. We are from Canada so we never had the chance to try a TGI before.
The staff was friendly and quick but the food quality leaves a lot to be desired.
We tried the three entrees plate - Mozarella sticks, Potato Skins and Buffalo chicken bites. It was OK at best - clearly reheated on the spot. Nothing special about any of the three. The Chimichurri Salmon was pretty good but lacked flavors once you got passed the sauce itself. It was accompagnied with a pretty bland rice that lacked any kind of interesting flavor.
I took a Burger and it must have been the worst burger I have ever had. The meat was cold, dry and flavorless. Huge pieces of oignons and lettuces. The buns we're clearly not fresh.It's the first time I actually didn't finish a burger.
Fries we're good, but nothing special about them either.
As canadians, it was also extremely expensive - about 80$ CAN. Two main plates, entrees and two bottles of water.

They both loved them, said they had lots of flavour, and the portions were surprisingly big! My paterner and I both had the chicken finger BLT. It was a good-sized sandwich with decent flavour, the bacon really came through. However, I did see some people with burgers and had a bit of food envy. If I were to go back, I think I'd pick a burger over the BLT. The unlimited refills of soda is great. My partner had a couple of glasses of white wine and said it was decent enough. The reason for losing 2 starts is the bill is that for some reason we were charged in US dollars and the conversation rate is crazy, meaning the bill came out just over $160 which is ridiculous for a couple of sandwiches, 2 starters, and a few drinks. Read morePer accedere all’area fumatori (o semplicemente per consumare qualcosa) è richiesto il pagamento di una tassa d’ingresso: già questa modalità è piuttosto discutibile, ma abbiamo comunque deciso di sederci e ordinare una birra, regolarmente pagata in anticipo come richiesto.
La vera sorpresa è arrivata dopo: una volta lasciato il locale e raggiunto il terminal, siamo stati raggiunti da una cameriera (una ragazza con gli occhi azzurri e le trecce), che ci ha pubblicamente accusati di non aver saldato il conto, definendoci ladri davanti agli altri passeggeri. Una situazione umiliante e profondamente imbarazzante.
Dopo aver mostrato la ricevuta di pagamento, la cameriera ha ammesso che si trattava di un errore… salvo poi dirci che dovevamo comunque pagare una “differenza” non specificata, senza fornire spiegazioni chiare.
Stiamo valutando se procedere con una denuncia per diffamazione, dato il comportamento gravemente scorretto, l’accusa infondata e l’esposizione pubblica subita.
Mi auguro vivamente che la direzione prenda provvedimenti seri verso il personale coinvolto. Nessuno dovrebbe essere trattato in questo modo, tanto più in un luogo internazionale dove il rispetto del cliente e la professionalità dovrebbero essere la base
Para acceder a la zona de fumadores (o simplemente para tomar algo), hay que pagar entrada. Esto ya es cuestionable, pero decidimos sentarnos y pedir una cerveza de todos modos, que pagamos por adelantado tal como nos habían pedido.
La verdadera sorpresa llegó después: al salir del restaurante y llegar a la terminal, se nos acercó una camarera (una chica de ojos azules y trenzas) que nos acusó públicamente de no pagar la cuenta, llamándonos ladrones delante de otros pasajeros. Una situación humillante y profundamente vergonzosa.
Tras mostrarnos el recibo de pago, la camarera admitió que había sido un error... solo para decirnos que aún teníamos que pagar una "diferencia" no especificada, sin darnos una explicación clara.
Estamos considerando presentar una demanda por difamación, dado el comportamiento extremadamente inapropiado, la acusación infundada y la exposición pública que hemos sufrido.
Espero sinceramente que la gerencia tome medidas serias contra el personal involucrado. Nadie debería ser tratado de esta manera, especialmente en un lugar internacional donde el respeto al cliente y la profesionalidad deben...
