Moskito Sport Bar & Restaurante — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Beware of the "2x1 cocktail" offer. I ordered 2 cocktails (planning to have 1 for me and 1 for my friend) and we got 4 because supposedly we need to order 2 each. If this was the case they should have told us this and made it clear. Secondly, that would have been ok for the price had the Piña coladas had any alcohol in them but considering I drank 2 and felt no buzz (and I'm a light drinker - 2 should be more than enough) and I couldn't taste any alcohol clearly indicates there was none.

To put this in perspective: we were in Tulum days before where we were on the main street and sat at a bar and got a 2x1 cocktail deal there in which 1) we did not need to get 2 cocktails each and 2) they were alcoholic. A totally different experience compared to this bar.

Worst place in Holbox, avoid it. Extremely overpriced drinks and rude staff.

Update: as you can see the answer of the owner, not a friendly place… I really dont understand all the good reviews, I was a lot of bar and restaurant in Holbox and every place had much better prices, better food and nice service. Amazing service! Well worth a visit for a beer on the beach, and maybe some food.

The staff are so nice as well. When I mentioned how much I love their Habanero sauce, the waiters gave me a sample serving of it to take home with me! They are really lovely people. Great spot on the beach - a little quieter than over in downtown Holbox. I had a few lunches from them and they were all pretty good....
