Settle in - this'll be a long read. My issue is with the noise level of the "singer" they have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. He sings the same operatic set of songs all 3 days every week. He could be lip syncing to a recording for all we know, and it goes on late into the night. They have the speaker blaring so loud that I can hear it in my private residence across the street as if I'm sitting in the front row. I don't need a free concert of mediocre opera every night, and my sleeping baby certainly doesn't appreciate it either.
After waking my baby several times with his bleating top notes, I'd finally had enough and marched on down the road to ask if they could turn down the volume. Their guests need to hear the music, not the entire Mayan Riviera. The employees were at least concerned and had the good grace to look apologetic. But the owner eventually came over to get rid of me (since I insisted on standing there until the noise was decreased to a reasonable level) and after hearing my complaints about the noise waking my baby across the street, this was her response - prepare yourselves, it's a doozy:
"You've come to a vacation town where we have loud music, so this isn't the place for a baby. Maybe if your baby can't sleep you shouldn't have brought your baby."
She had zero compassion for my little one's terrible sleep, and her solution is that no one in Puerto Adventuras should bring their children here so she's free to be as loud and obnoxious as she damn well pleases. After giving her as strong of a look of disgust as I could muster, she finally agreed to at least turn the speaker to aim the noise more at her guests (many of which appeared to be her friends).
You'd better believe that when this mama is ready to party, I will never set foot in this place. There is zero regard for the people living in surrounding buildings, and she seems to be content to subject us all to this intolarable wailing as long as she...
Read moreOk I will say the food was a 5 but the service was -1. We were seated and we ordered . Three different families came after us and were served fully before we were. It took us over one hour to get our pizzas. My daughter ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and it was amazing but the rest of us waited 35 minutes after she got her plate for the pizza. They didn't say sorry or offer to bring us bread just to keep us from having nothing to eat while we watched my daughter eating. We ordered the Hawaina pizza, a pepperoni pizza, and the Brooklyn pizza and they were all fantastic! They looked at us awkwardly when we asked for extra parmesan and red pepper flakes. Although the food was fantastic, I would not eat here again. TAs we were waiting for our check another family came in and we're seating and by the time I finished my cappuccino and we paid the bill the family got all their food...
Read moreWOW! The best dinner we had our entire trip! After being constantly disappointed by the restaurants at our resort, we decided to ditch our last dinner reservation and go find something else. My husband suggested pizza so we walked by this place to look at the menu. The owner and his friend welcomed us in with open arms and provided us with one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The salad: incredible. The pasta: incredible. The pizza: incredible. Staff: PHENOMENAL. The ambiance and live music: unforgettable. I would highly recommend you check this place out. We stopped by to say thank you and grab coffees in the morning and indulged in one of the best cappuccinos and croissants I’ve ever had. Thank you Luca and all of the staff...
