Café Olé International Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

We were here with 2 friends in February. I ordered a burrito and it was horrible. No rice, no beans but just all meat (this was after telling me that the brisket was sold out). The owner seems to think I wanted something to complain about and I am not. I did complain to the person who claimed to be the owner, but I guess he was not. I know what I ordered and it didn't come as a burrito, not sure what it was (I even asked if the chef was Mexican and he said he was, but I'm not sure). Also, ALL the chairs need cushions as they are very hard wood to sit on and very uncomfortable. Apparently that day there was some sort of tournament and they took all the cushions and they requested horrible music (American music). This is Mexico and no matter what, play nice Mexican music. They catered to these people it seems, but don't care about their other paying customers. I won't go back anyways, but don't think because someone is posting a review, they are not telling the truth per my other...

Fun, friendly atmosphere. They often have live music or other entertainment like karaoke. Their food is passable but there are better options nearby. We ordered nachos as an appetizer and found that the portion size was small and the dish was covered in a "cheese whiz" sauce.

My wife and I have gone back a couple of times since my first review. The food was always passable but not great. However, I am down grading my rating from 3 to 1 star based on what happened during the last visit. I was there again for karaoke, and we had drinks and a light snack. At the end of our night, I paid the bill and left a 10% tip which I felt was fair based on the service that we had received. The waiter then proceeds to confront me at our table and states that the tip is small and insulting. He then involves the inebriated owner who proceeds to escalate the situation. The end result is that I left angry and frustrated at this...

Absolutely amazing food, A fun live music atmosphere A favorite place to eat in Peurto aventuras

We have been here a couple times so far and it's always been amazing

I had fajitas which were extremely good and this last visit I had the brisket which was mind blowing amazing, extremely well prepared, The sides with the brisket were as good as the meat ... Sweet creamy coleslaw and a creamy dill potato salad wow i could have eaten a meal of the salads they were so good haha

Our group also had the ribs which were extremely delicious with similar sides ... And chicken wings which were large and perfectly cooked with about a mild - medium hot sauce, they were also perfect wings, Another had "the best clubhouse sandwich they've ever had"

This is one of the first restaurants in Peurto aventuras and I can see why they have stayed in buisness for all these years .... It's an amazing...
