This is inside of a resort!! We didn’t know that, when we arrived we were stopped at the gate. We were told we had to exit, call and get a reservation / QR code then come back through to get the QR code scanned before being granted entry. This was frustrating because nothing on the website mentioned this, so there was no way for us to know this ahead of time. Then, once we were in the resort, we saw a resort sign saying the restaurant was at this particular area (along with many other shops). However it took us quite a while of walking around confused to finally realize we had to go toward the resort room buildings, go up the steps, and to the “inner” circle of the buildings. Finally when we arrived we were surprised to see many dolphins swimming around in the middle of all the shops and cafes. There was a waterfall, and many boardwalks where trainers came out to feed and train with the dolphins. My 6 year old loved this, and of course it was magical to watch the dolphins just swimming around while eating. But in general I just don’t agree with keeping animals like that in captivity for the entertainment of humans. The cafe had outside tables with large umbrellas so we were shaded. The food, coffee and juice was all delicious and service was quick and friendly. I would love to have the food again but might try another location that hopefully is not located inside a resort.

The freshest breakfast, everything that can be made in house, is made here. Complimentary yogurt with granola and passion fruit to start. We ordered eggs Benedict, swapping out pork belly for bacon, plus an order of overeasy eggs, bacon, home fries, and a pancake. Even the English muffin and bread was homemade. The bread was excellent with their sweet butter and blueberry preserves. Juice of the day, made there of course, containing raspberry, ginger, and orange. The lettuce salad served with the eggs Benny was lightly dressed, a great compliment to the rich eggs. And to top it off, there’s an orchid blooming.

Edit: service has gone downhill a bit and last time we visited there was a lot of items not available. My biggest issue is the entrees - tasty but too heavy. They need lighter fare and variety - menu hasn't changed in a year and no specials. 3.5 stars Old review: Easily the best new restaurant in town. Great prices as very high quality food and drinks. Everything is very well prepared. Slightly heavy entrees (risotto, gnocchi chicken, oxtail ravioli, etc). Drinks are fantastic - even the fruited waters, all made with fresh fruit. Mussels and tuna appetizers were fantastic.

Wow! Just wow! Talk about an amazing experience. We actually came here last night to grab some dessert to go, which was incredible. The passionfruit cheesecake. And then we came here tonight for dinner. I don’t think I’ve had better dinner in Puerto Aventuras and I’ve been here five or six times. My dad had the corn ribs and the grilled fish. My mom had the Caesar salad, which had amazing chunks of pork. And I had the chicken with gnocchi. All four dishes were incredible. Our cocktails were just as amazing. Janet is such a sweetheart and such an incredible server. We will...
