So happy we found this authentic place upon leaving Coba Ruins... It’s just a block or so outside the entrance gate, with a lovely view of the lake! It was early afternoon, and we were hot and exhausted from climbing the ruins. The friendly staff sat us in a table in the shade, and even brought over an extra fan to cool us off! We are a vegetarian / vegan family, and we had no problem finding lots of delicious options. The menus are in both Spanish and English, and there’s free wifi (in case that’s important to you). Our drinks were amazing - and a great deal! Our favorite was the banana smoothie and lemonade. To start they gave us the standard nacho chips, salsa and spicy dip. The spicy dip was so good but if you don't like super hot I suggest you stick the the regular salsa.
