Food was soooooo good omg. I got Pollo Pibil (I think its called??). It's traditionally cooked how the Mayan people did, underground and wrapped in a banana leaf. Idk what the sauce was that they put on the chicken, but it was so good! The chicken was amazing. Rice and beans were so good. We got the Carne Anadarko empanadas. They were really good, and flaky. But would have been better with cheese. So ask to add cheese if you get a meat empanada. I thought I was ordering on and it comes with 4! My husband loved his chicken tacos as well. And the lemonada and jugo de piña were to die for. We had 5 lemonades between the...

Everything is good, but the enchiladas are amazing. They have this wonderful crunch underneath a delicious sauce. The shrimp tacos are fantastic, and a Fish with Garlic dish also got a stamp of approval. Remember the enchiladas. You'll be glad you did.

Also, there's a Second floor that has a nice breeze. It's very comfortable up there.

Bathrooms were neat. There is a swimming pool on the back, but I don't really know why. No one was using it. My friend says it's cuz there's a hotel on the same plot, and it's for the hotel guests not the...

Cute place in Coba that offers tradition Mexican dishes and some local favorites as well. The Sopa di Lima was fantastic. You can also get it to go which was very helpful. It was open late which is helpful since many other places in Coba are closed and there aren't many options. The food is very tasty and the prices are great for every budget. It's also very close to the ruins in Coba and nearby cenotes. Across the street is a hammock shop that sells hammocks...

Our tour guide from the ruins recommended this place and it did not disappoint!! The menu was expansive and had a great mix of Mexican and Mayan cuisine. Authentic. Fresh. Flavorful. We loved everything we ordered. My favorite was the Pescada de la Veracrazana. (Fish in a tomato sauce). There were 4 of us in our party and all of us ordered something different and loved it. Luis is a great server. Friendly, prompt and happy. We will be back.

Had a delicious meal at Chile Picante! Our waitress was very nice, and the Cochinita Pibil and Pollo Pibil were both delicious. We stocked up on beer and a few snacks at the shop below after our meal too. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
