San Francisco Beach Club Cozumel — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

I don’t know what the 1 star reviews are expecting. Beach clubs in Cozumel start at $80 or the free ones have rocky beach. All inclusives are over $150. And like yeah, if you jump in a cab at a cruise port and expect to be taken someplace spectacular with no research? That’s on you! That’s not how being a tourist works.

For $20, you get a chair, an umbrella, a sandy beach, a day full of chair side service, perfectly serviceable food and a reasonable assurance nobody is going to steal your stuff while you go for a dip. I had Gaspar (Casper) for a server and he was a delight and was willing to help me practice my Spanish all day. If you want a fancier beach, pay for one. Casper was great he gave exceptional service. The beach was nice unlike other reviews. I have no idea what the other people were talking about.. It was a very clean beach doesn’t smell. Has tons of inflatables in the water for the kids, paddle boarding, kayaks, and tons of additional add-on activities you can pay for. The food was decent, wasn’t the best but was decent. Disappointing experience. Took my family here for the first time. They told us it would be 20 USD per person. Ended up charging us an extra 10% because of credit card. When it posted to the bank they had charged 30 USD for each of us. They couldn’t explain why, citing conversion to pesos, but refused to alter the price or refund.
