Excellent coffee and coffee-based beverages. They serve top quality beans from different parts of Mexico and baristas are well informed about their processing and flavor profiles. I LOVED their mocha. They use solid dark 70% chocolate (also from Mexico) as opposed to a syrup or powder, so together with the milk and espresso it comes together as a delightful blend of rich chocolatey flavor notes with just the right amount of sweet and bitter. The place is cozy to sit and take a break from the sun. Their pastries look nice though I was sad that they don’t offer Mexican pastries (e.g., conchas) to round out their local coffee experience. They offer plant-based milks. One of the two best specialty coffee places in town. If you like coffee, don’t miss it.

I came across this place as I was looking for a place to buy top-notch roasted coffee beans. Fresh roasted beans are more important to me almost than the beans origin. I was sold a Oaxaca blend as freshly roasted, but I was quite disappointed when I made my first batch at home that it was not. It was at least a month old. Having said that, I’m going to give them another chance because these are Covid times after all. The place itself is cute as can be, and the people working there very friendly. The date on the bag is April 10 (see the picture) and I visited them May 5th. So the coffee was almost a month old.

This review was long overdue. La Mancha is my favorite coffee/coffee shop in San Miguel de Allende and all of Mexico (that we've come across on our travels)! Paloma, Christian and Pablo make you feel like family and the shop has the most cozy vibe. Their service and coffee are completely stellar and it was a daily ritual to share good conversation and a delicious almond milk cappuccino! Also Paloma makes the most amazing vegan (and non vegan) baked goods. Don't miss this little gem when in SMA!

I can confirm that the other review are accurate, the service is great, the coffee is very good and the food is well made. In our experience there, we had a great time catching up during breakfast. We had some requests like a bean free meal, a dish split into two portions and some extra milk and all our needs were met with a smile and delivered as requested.

The menu also includes about 15 different ways to new your coffee, from aeropress to cold brew they have it all. The prices are very reasonable unlike other places in San Miguel.

I'm happy to recommend this place but if you like your food to be hot (temperature wise) make sure to tell them, otherwise the food might be not to your liking... still great taste but a bit one the cold...
