My husband and I lived in San Miguel for a year. The market has many stalls with souvenirs of all types. At one end of the market, there are several vegetable stalls. I visited all of them and learned early on that the vegetables here were more expensive than any other market in San Miguel. Beautiful place — very nice atmosphere. You’ll find an eclectic assortment of arts from across Mexico. The market itself is spotless and very well maintained.

This is a HUGE market in San Miguel de Allende. We had a fantastic shopping experience and it's one market that should not be missed. Everything from meals to wheels are sold here. The produce was fresh, there were hats, shoes, clothing, pottery, jewelry, light fixtures, and trinkets of all shapes and sizes. The vendors were kind and not 'pushy' in any way.
