Stopped in solo on a Monday and ordered the single size "Paella" dish. It was awful. For those seeking traditional Paella, this is not it. It's flavored rice with a few small bits of clam, one 2"x2" chunk of chicken and two crawfish - and expensive! The clams and chicken were very overcooked, like chewing rubber. The crawfish fell apart like sand in my mouth, not kidding. I couldn't chew the chicken at all. The rice was overcooked and very starchy. It was a bummer. I was excited but left hungry. I've been to the best music venues in Detroit and Ann Arbor , Mi ,USA . Detroit and Ann Arbor is desperately in need of a nightclub like El Tupinambas right now . The music is eclectic. Music is great . The food and service is great too ! And the staff and owners are the best . I lived in SMA for 6 months 2 years ago and hopefully I'll return sometime next year . Oh! My husband and I were in San Miguel de Allende for 8 days last week. The first night, we happened to find this place based on acquaintances' recommendation and we were blown away by how fantastic the music was. There was a 6-piece gypsy jazz band playing. The place was wall-to-wall with dancers across generations, all having the time of their lives—including my husband and me. The staff was attentive, friendly, and so very welcoming.
