I dined at the bar quite some time ago. I remember having a nice evening. I went to Los Milagros again last night. I was early and asked for the bathroom. The manager appeared and seemed to be in a very bad mood. He told me they did not offer a public bathroom. I explained I was a customer meeting friends in the bar. He folded his arms and took a stance as if to block me from moving forward. He gruffly said, “If you are a customer why are you holding your bags?” I was carrying my book bag and a shopping bag. I explained that I was meeting friends in the lounge and I was the first to arrive. He crossed his arms and took a step forward as if to intimidate me. I really only wanted to wash my hands and I was not going to leave my bags unattended while doing so. I took a seat at the bar and waited for my friend. We had appetizers and a couple of drinks. They were “OK.” The downright nasty manager passed by the door to the lounge several times and looked right at us but never bothered to check on us, our food or our drinks. I really don’t know what his problem was but he should not be working with the public if he is that unhappy. Perhaps he presents himself as a pretentious bully and bellend out...
Read moreWe ate dinner here and it was really good! Service was very friendly and the food delicious! We have two younger kids (one who is an extremely picky eater) and they had decent options for them as well. They ordered the chicken nuggets and French fries and the spaghetti al pomodoro. My husband and I shared the molcajete Mexicano and could not have been happier! It was huge (we should have forgone the chicken nuggets and shared this with our non-picky eater!). The molcajete also came with tortillas, guacamole, and refried beans. The room was on the louder side, but we considered that a good thing because I didn’t have to worry about the kids getting too loud. Live music started as we were finishing up—it was nice. It has a huge bar, so you can probably order any drink you’d like—we stuck with beer. We definitely recommend this place and specifically...
Read moreRichie at the bar (where we sat) was awesome with his suggestions for after dinner go to options. The hostess ignored us a couple of times and didn't look happy as she worked so that was weird. Fortunately a bearded gentleman noticed what was going on and escorted us to the bar.
Octopus was cooked exactly how it should've been. The Enchilada Verde was tender and flavorful, even the rice was amazing. The Allende IPA didn't disappoint, we both had 2.
Live music, the look/smell of all of the dishes being served and the sound of joy filled the restaurant which enhanced the experience.
I don't think you can go wrong with any menu choice and the price...come on...995 pesos (53 usd) for tortilla soup, 2 entrées and 4 beers. I spent 21 bucks for an octopus tentacle at Kings Fish House in Carlsbad, CA a...
