6:30pm light dinner for 2. My wife ordered chicken soup and I ordered enchiladas Queretanas. 5 minutes after placing our order, cook comes out and apologizes that the soup will take approximately 35 minutes because the chicken breast needs to be cooked. We accept the wait. About 30 minutes later, my enchiladas are served not very warm. My wife insists I begin eating without her. Literally as I’m finishing my plate, the waiter walks by and ask about the soup and responds that it will be out soon, that he had just checked with the cook and the chicken wasn’t fully cooked yet. At this point, we asked for the check and left without the soup. My wife’s lemonade was taken off the check. We were very patient, but the breaking point was receiving my cold dish well before my wife’s. This points to a very poorly executed kitchen.
