Tried this spot out because it was right across our hotel. The seating area is on a terrace on the 3rd floor. The view is nice, there is no denying that, but as for the food and service....mehh. I ordered the burger and for a drink I got a Cielo Rojo. (I know....I should have chose something less American, but hey!! I was in the mood for a burger). The burger was not bad. It was simple, but not bad at all. My wife had the Enmoladas de Pollo which came with rice and black beans. My wife enjoyed the mole - it was sweet with a perfect kick of spice. The rice on the otherhand, was bland and disappointing. Reminded me of boxed Mexican rice. The beans were OK, but were not cooked all the way so some had a crunch on them. The service was also lacking. The servers were nice and all, but it was not enough to make up for how long our food took to come out and how long it took to get my check after asking 3 times. They also forgot my water and had to ask for that again. I will also note that the food here is a bit pricey, but this applies to all places in the immediate area, so it's not a direct knock on them. It's worth checking out perhaps for a drink and to take in the view. As for food, I would recommend trying other places.

Most of the food was pretty good. The Chile relleno and steak with chimichurri sauce were exceptional. The shrimp aguachile was undercooked (the shrimp was literally raw and did not cook with the citrus) and burrata dish was a waste of money. The atmosphere was chaotic. This is not a good place for families hoping to enjoy a nice view while eating a nice meal. It’s not good for handicap people or the elderly (or anyone who has trouble walking). The only way I to the restaurant is to climb a set of steep stairs and the drunk people can get aggressive and bump into others which can be very dangerous for those with disabilities. Service was ok. They kept pushing alcohol on us even though we had said we don’t drink. You do get a nice view though…

Walking to another bar we saw this rooftop and decided to stop by and give it a try. We were not looking for food just some drinks so we walked up and luckily we didn’t wait for a table, we got it right away. When we went up right on front we got the main church view, absolutely stunning views. My husband ordered a San Miguel drink made with cucumber, pineapple and mezcal and I ordered a margarita but instead of tequila I changed it for mezcal. Drinks came out quick and oh boy, they were so good and presentation 10/10. Price and a little high but hey you are on a beautiful rooftop facing the San Miguel Archangel view, plus drinks were delicious, totally worth it.

Wow! What a superb experience. Fernando, the manager, was attentive and personable. The food was absolutely delicious. Between the four of us, we all enjoyed the organic salad, octopus and aguachile for starters- all divine. The mains were outstanding. We enjoyed beef fillet, salmon (best ever) and the spicy pollo. Fernando recommended a wide variety, and consistently tasty wines. The stellar rooftop views, lively music and relaxed but classy atmosphere heightened the experience. We are a group of very experienced travelers who appreciate excellent food. Cielo hit the mark on every front and had such fun too. Highly recommend. (And special thanks ...
