La cocina de Silvia — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

We just spent 19 nights in Cozumel and will have many fond memories of our breakfasts and chats at La Cocina De Silvia. Great food, friendly cat named Covi, and wonderful staff.

I can’t say enough about this place. I look forward to this breakfast every trip. I don’t get the traditional breakfast though. I like to live on the wild side and enjoy enchiladas, enfrijoladas, or chilaquiles for breakfast when I come here. Nothing tastes better!!! The whole experience is tranquil and savory. Is that a thing??? I don’t know but I feel so at peace here. My tastebuds are in heaven. If you’re lucky enough, try the agua de limon con menta (lemonade with mint). Looks scary but tastes...

I started early in the morning for a two tank scuba dive, and I wanted an early breakfast so I could survive the day! La Cochins de Silvia was open, and they were so welcoming.

The mushroom omelette was excellent. However the coffee was only a single cup… I’m an American so I’m spoiled for endless coffee 😆

They were out of orange juice so I chose watermelon. They were very accommodating and made it fresh...
